WebGL can create a memorable first impression, but it should never hold the page hostage.
The important content must remain HTML. The canvas can provide atmosphere, depth, and interaction while the page stays readable without it.
For most production sites, the right move is lazy loading, simple geometry, lower DPR on mobile, and a complete fallback state.
