Case Study
Overview
A focused read on what the project needed to communicate, how the product surface was shaped, and where the system can grow next.

The Problem
Global class and event operations need admin surfaces that keep data, content, and platform workflows manageable.
The Goal
Provide an operational dashboard foundation for Salsation teams to manage ecosystem workflows with clarity.
Depth Pass
How the product was shaped.
The work is easier to understand as a sequence: context first, then product decisions, then user flow and visual direction.
01
Context
- The Salsation ecosystem spans students, instructors, events, app usage, and public content.
- A dashboard layer is needed so operators can manage activity without relying on fragmented manual processes.
02
Approach
- I focused the dashboard around operational clarity: what needs attention, what data matters, and which workflows should be fast.
- Admin UX was framed around repeated use rather than one-time presentation.
03
User Flow
- Operator signs into the dashboard, reviews key activity, manages records or content, and completes workflow updates.
- The dashboard supports the public app and website ecosystem behind the scenes.
04
Design Direction
- A sparse, utility-first dashboard keeps focus on operational data and controls.
- The visual treatment avoids marketing weight so admin work remains fast to scan.
Core Features
Product surface and system layer.
Admin management
Operational visibility
Class and event workflow support
Platform data surfaces

Stack & architecture notes
The dashboard is an internal platform layer connected to class, event, member, and content operations.
Result / Next Layer
What the build makes possible.
Result
- Salsation gains a clearer management surface for a growing global fitness ecosystem.
- The dashboard can evolve with reporting, moderation, instructor tools, and content workflows.
Future Layer
- Add deeper analytics, role permissions, audit trails, and workflow automation.
- Connect admin actions more tightly with app notifications and event lifecycle states.
