The Problem
Jewelry products require close visual inspection and a refined brand surface without overloading the user with interface decoration.
The Goal
Create a quiet storefront that lets product imagery, new arrivals, and brand values stay visible.
Depth Pass
How the product was shaped.
The work is easier to understand as a sequence: context first, then product decisions, then user flow and visual direction.
01
Context
- Shepherd Jewelry needs to sell small, detail-rich products where visual clarity matters.
- The site also carries a brand statement about difference, identity, and cultural expression.
02
Approach
- I kept the interface minimal so product photos, detail shots, and collection pages can lead.
- Navigation and cart utilities were kept lightweight to preserve the premium feel.
03
User Flow
- Visitor lands on brand and product imagery, explores arrivals or catalog pages, then moves to product detail and purchase.
- Newsletter capture gives the brand a simple retention path for future drops.
04
Design Direction
- Bright whitespace, close product crops, and restrained typography keep the jewelry visible.
- The product imagery remains the main conversion asset.
Core Features
Product surface and system layer.
Product-led homepage
New arrivals
Newsletter capture
Minimal storefront navigation

Stack & architecture notes
The storefront is organized around brand homepage, product catalog, cart flow, and newsletter acquisition.
Result / Next Layer
What the build makes possible.
Result
- Shepherd Jewelry has a public e-commerce presence that feels visual, clean, and product-led.
- The site is ready for future collection releases and stronger content-led product storytelling.
Future Layer
- Add collection narratives, material education, and stronger product detail modules.
- Improve merchandising around related items, gift guides, and editorial look pages.
